The Eastside
Traveling Golf League is a golf league of varying golfing abilities. All scores
are NET scores using official USGA handicaps. The Washington State Golf
Association officially recognizes our league.
Each tournament is
scored individually (net) to add to a player’s Sony Ranking total. The winner
of the Sony Rankings is awarded the GREEN JACKET and is allowed to display the
perpetual plague on their mantel for the year. In addition to individual play
either a two-man or four-man team event takes place each tournament. We use a
variety of formats for team play. Teams are randomly drawn from two groups
divided by handicaps (one half of the team from the low division and the other
half of the team from the higher division). The division varies depending on
who signs up for each tourney.
Our match play tourney
is open to the first 32 players who sign up at the beginning of the year. This
is a single elimination tournament that takes place outside of regular scheduled
event. The tournament begins in April and concludes in September or October.
